If it were easy...

If we knew in advance what we were going to face before we left Hinton, AB, we probably never would have left. 

We started the day with Vancouver in our sights, but quickly came to terms with a new reality - a collision just west of Hinton resulted in the highway being closed for half the day.  We were on the road by 7am but we were forced to turn around, and were finally allowed through at 1pm. 

There were some sketchy road conditions, among other surprises, and unfortunately we couldn't reach our final destination. Kamloops is our home tonight, with hopes that tmrw will be a little less challenging than today.
