Spring Is Here!!

Spring Is Here!!

Can you believe it!? Even though it may not feel like it where you are, it's a good feeling to know that winter is technically over! It  doesn't feel much like spring here in Saskatoon though; the ground is still covered in snow, hiding any sign of life.  Despite this, I've been inspired to think about what we're going to plant. Here's a quick list that I've compiled:

Green Beans
Bell Peppers
Lettuce
Jalapenos
Green Onions
Yellow Onions
Cilantro
Garlic

Our growing space is limited in size and won't have room for many of the vegetables we'd love to grow: corn, spuds, beets, and cukes, to name a few. Instead, we'll rely on family, friends and the local farmer's market to pick up the slack.

In terms of the agenda for Lifted Earth, we've decided not to do a spring tour in western Canada. The trade shows were a great experience but also expensive and exhausting! It feels good to stay home during this time of year instead of being a trade show roadie. In a couple weeks we'll be unveiling a new accessory for our hardware kits, as well as a new image to help give you some inspiration to create your own beautiful growing space.
